What works without an internet connection

Step by step

1. Prayer times

Without a connection the app computes times on your device from the selected location and calculation method. A timetable published by an authority can only be fetched online, so offline times may differ from that table. The view updates again once you are back online.

2. Notifications

Scheduled reminders work without a connection because they are scheduled on the phone. After a long period offline, opening the app once lets reminders be scheduled again.

3. Quran and content

The Quran text can be read on the device. Recitation audio, tafsir, word-by-word translation and Quran radio need a connection. You can check in the relevant screen whether an audio file has already been loaded.

4. Maps and shared rooms

Mosque search and the map do not work offline. Shared khatm and dhikr rooms exchange information with other participants, so they need a connection and a signed-in account.
